Abby's Top Self-Care Secrets // Healthy Mind, Body, and Soul
Hi ladies, It’s Abby from Kaahani and I’m here to talk about my favorite self-care secrets that changed my life for the better. We are strong believers in self-care and strongly encourage giving yourself a treat once a week to energize and fulfill your mind, body, and soul with nothing but inner peace and kombucha.
My top 5 go-to items that I do for my #Selfcare day of the week are what gets me ready to kick ass and start my week with a positive attitude.
First things first, you got to have a mask on at some point in the day. Masks provide such good benefits for the skin and are able to purchase a variety of them depending on what you’re trying to gain. Deep cleaning is a huge step in my skincare routine so my favorite mask that I’ve been loving recently is the Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask.
As my mask is doing its magic, I’ve recently been listening to podcasts lately rather than music and it’s a different way to start the day with a new idea or perspective from other people talking about different topics. One I’ve been obsessed with is Self-Helpless with Delanie Fischer, Kelsey Cook, and Taylor Tomlinson.
If you’re not a big fan of podcasts, I do encourage to read anything that interests you. Self-care is not all about fixing your physical side but maintain and educate your mental and emotional being. A book I am currently reading is The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager. If you are a thriller junkie like me, you’ll be turning every single page wanting more. For a more self-care genre, I have been loving is Body Love by Kelly LeVeque.
To get your daily exercise in, Yoga has definitely been my favorite thing to do to destress and compose together my thoughts and feelings back to one place. It’s a satisfying feeling after and leaves you with a smile on your face every time. Namaste!
My last thing on my #SelfCare series is my top product of the month: Kombucha! My favorite drink and flavor is Watermelon from Synergy. It’s absolutely amazing and utterly life-changing. If you haven’t tried Kombucha, I definitely recommend this brand. You can find it at any grocery store around your area or a local market.
